Although this is a fashion magazine layout the same general principles can be applied to create a fashion textbook. The use of image is key to generate interest and illustrate the point the author is trying to make- they are evocative and really add a sense of meaning to the text
I'm not big on gallery walls, but I like this idea. Make it a small smattering over a hall table/entryway bench, and fill in spaces with small items/letters instead of just a bunch of similarly-sized frames.
November, the month of autumn that turns into winter. It all reminds me of falling leaves, twigs, warm sweaters, the fireplace, a lot of cosiness and of course hot chocolate! It’s one of my favorite months of the year and I’m already looking forward to Christmas! Novembers theme was a little different. Most of the time I choose one theme and stick with it. This month I choose for the theme: Building. And with this I mean special and populair buildings in different cities of the world.
Andrea + Dan - we like this from the perspective that it's a functional bathroom built into a slither of space under a sloping roof, which we guess may be a likelihood for us. Long and thin means no need for a dormer to create space.
