Calm Down Box. Bubbles to take deep breaths, playdough or stress ball to squeeze, notepad to write/scribe feelings, tissue for tears, rubbing stone, emotion cards to help those who are having a hard time to articulate how they feel
I do not believe this list to be exhaustive. It’s just what I see as top priorities to wrap your mind around when you’re staring down a “school starts” date on the calendar.
