CELTIC LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP (1904) | 'In 1904 Cornwall was granted membership of the Celtic League as it had successfully proven the existence of a living Celtic language. A telegram was sent to Henry Jenner in acknowledgement of this feat of Cornwall taking its "proper place in the midst of the Celtic people".
