One of the most iconic moments of the Rio Games was watching Katie Ledecky swim away from that yellow world-record line and touch that wall. The 19-year-old covered the 800 meters in a time of eight minutes and 4.79 seconds, roughly 11 seconds ahead of the silver medalist, Great Britain’s Jazz Carlin.
