"Droplet" by Malin Bobeck (University of Boras, Swedish School of Textiles, 2014)- a jacquard fabric with optical fibers combined with krympagarn: Pemotex. This piece is part of Bobeck's series called "Liquid Light," a series of experimental textiles that explore weaving in relation to materials, texture and light. The pemotex here, makes the fabric shrink when heated, thus creating the effect where the light is partially hidden.
