"Architect David G. Brooks and his brother, Edward B. Brooks, designed this Meyerland home in 1965. It was built for David Brooks and his family and was sold to its second owners in 1996. It will be one of six homes on the Rice Design Alliance Tour. The annual architectural tour will show how architecture, interiors and landscaping can cope with heavy rains, tropical storms, and even hurricanes. Homes will be open to the public March 25-26, 2017."
