Microwave in the Island! (Finally!)

Extending the island - link to page describing making the shelf for microwave xxx Like the usefulness of the Ikea bar to hand teatowels using the 'dead space' of the blank side. This island is 6 ft long, same as our 180cm option. I think she said her original had been 3 ft deep (92cm) but she had deepened it slightly with a bit more overhang to give more room to sit under the overhang - perhaps 40cm would do this? xxx
