Minecarft is all the rage- even if your students don't play it, they are guaranteed to know all about it. So, why not bring Minecraft to math class. In this


I would use QR Codes in the classroom for a number of activities. Whether it was literacy, math, science or any subject, QR codes get students used to using technology in a fun and creative way. The student would grab a cube and complete each of the activities as part of a daily task. I would use this in my 1st grade classroom.


Perimeter and Area

In fourth grade, students learn about perimeter and area. To relate this to social studies, students could draw their own map/landforms and tell me their perimeter and area.
