The Flapper was first a poem by Dorothy Parker meaning young girls who flap there wings and fly. The flapper dress is extremely popular and easy to spot. It has a dropped waistline and no sleeves. Had a lot of fringe, sequins, and metallics.
I know that dancing was very popular in the so I think this dress was made perfect for the time period, because the fringe at the bottom and the rhinestones covering the whole dress will all look beautiful in movement.
