Mix grass seed in with potting soil. Fill up a nylon. Tie into segments with string to make a 'caterpillar." Soak in water till saturated. Then let the kids spray it with water every day after and watch it grow. When the grass gets "too long" let the kids give it a "haircut."
Green Shield stamps. My mum bought these in the early 70s, to 'save up' to buy things for our home. I remember seeing books and books of them. (This pin has been repinned almost every day since I first posted it!)
I've done this bulletin board every year, and the kids (and adults) love it! I send out a letter to the parents asking for random items, and this is what I got this year:) The item to search for changes every day.
What I think stood out within this image is that although the photo is only on the models face and no more. The model within the image has evidently been to a make up artist first, and has got multicoloured paint on her face but they've included a stick on zip so on eye is normal skin colour. I feel this adds to the image as it is very unusual and not an every day photo.
