Great idea for fairy tales! Using white butcher paper, the teacher wrote "Once up a time" at the beginning of the sheet, and "The end" at the end. Kids drew and wrote a story in between:)

I made this for my guided reading group discussions. The kiddies love it:) Melissa can't take credit for this I however love it and it is a neat way to get the brain working :)

This is a great short animation feature about the life of Charles Dickens. The commentary is factual, but the animation is entertaining and brightens the presentation considerably. Use the Scene Selector to click on "hot spots" in the film to learn more, and to have access to the text of the commentary.
