Crumhorns, early music instruments. The crumhorn is a musical instrument of the woodwind family, most commonly used during the Renaissance period. In modern times, there has been a revival of interest in Early Music, and crumhorns are being played again.Because of the limited range, music for crumhorns is usually played by a group of instruments of different sizes and hence at different pitches.
Adam and the Ants was a new wave band during the late 1970s and early 1980s. It was one of the bands at the time that marked the transition from the ’70s punk rock era to the new-wave post punk-music era. Although the band started off with a punk-influenced sound, it soon moved on to New Wave motivated by new sources such as the drum-heavy “Burundi Beat” heard on “Dog Eat Dog”.

Early in Sioux's career she recited poems and prayers to improvised music. Sioux influenced PJ Harvey. Sinead O'Connor and Tracey Thorn. She also influenced the look of Death from Sandman comics
