(** Dr. says flying may do permanent damage! I've missed a lot of events! ) Inner-ear condition: Chris Packham, 50, first developed Meniere's disease at 37 [His condition appears to be less intense than mine--but he had more frequent attacks! He also flies on a plane! I am terrified to do that, to even try it.]
Neat trick for earache: Take a small amount of Vicks and massage it into bone behind your ears, then on your earlobes and on the very outside part of the opening of your ear. DO NOT PUT IN EAR. Just tried it and it does help ease the pain a bit, works better for me than the ear drops I've been using!
Ear candles. It works & it's easy to do. If it's been a while since you've had a good cleaning...you can use up to 2 to 3 candles per ear.Keep ears dry afterwards & no shampooing hair till the next day after this treatment. Cut open the candle afterwards with scizzors. It's soooo grosse, but you'll see what you had stored in your ear canal. Hearing and sinus blockages often improve after treatment.
