This summer, the Tower Of London will be surrounded by a sea of crimson. This installation, conceived by artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper, will commemorate each and every British or Colonial fatality from World War 1 by planting 888, 246 red ceramic poppies in a flowing sea around the tower. My mum purchased a poppy for a relative lost in this battle. Absolutely beautiful.
Reclaimed Yorkstone Paving has arguably more character than anything else on the market. Each and every piece has a unique patina from years of use. Places that the stone is reclaimed from commonly include schools, churches, mills and factories.
"I love the planting here, it looks every bit at home in a natural, wild looking bed that's not too modern. A perfect idea for a small courtyard garden. You could also tend it easily according to each season."
