Christopher Lee as Dracula in the Hammer House of Horror films of the 1960s and 70s. He was great in this role. These films seem a bit lame now, but I found them pretty frightening as a kid.

Max Schreck in Nosferatu (1922), one of the greatest Dracula movies of all time. Silent, in black and white, but ABSOLUTELY scary vampire movie.

The Latest On

This film is quite good fun, I guess, and Gary Oldman gives a typically scene-chewing performance, but how they have the nerve to call it "Bram Stoker's Dracula" I'll never understand. It bears little resemblance to the original story.
