Watermouth Valley, Ilfracombe: Between Exmoor and Ilfracombe, on a cliff at the edge of Watermouth Cove, this site has amazing sea and sunset views from every pitch. Watermouth Valley Camping Park

BROADSANDS BEACH, Ilfracombe, Devon, [ENGLAND] #wildbeach. Owned by Watermouth Valley Camping this crescent-shaped lagoon is not to be confused with Broadsands in Torbay. With caves and a rugged headland covered in lush vegetation this beach wouldn't look out of place in the Indian ocean. Access is by a dirt path and steep steps. In spring the cliffs are awash with wild grasses and garlic, but the beach is best in summer for maximum sunshine as it's north-facing. [© Neville Stanikk]
