The words “easy” and “antique floor refinishing” can never be uttered in sentences of even close proximity. Yet, most definitely “rewarding” and “beautiful” and “worth the effort” may all be belted out boldly in the same flooring discussion. The most amazing fact about my patriotic floorboards? They were officially given new life on the very day that celebrates independence.
What I really like about this spread is its use of color repetition to connect the two pages, as well as the wide spaces between the images and text. So the proximity is definitely used effectively, I also like how the text is aligned perfectly in relation to the images, as well as the text using a similar font family for the text. Additionally I like how the subject matter is intelligently connected between both sides of this spread, the BP logo hints at the subject/ topic.
Using Quantifiers as Determinatives: Quantifiers provide information about quantity of another word or phrase. A determinative is a word or phrase that expresses additional information such as definiteness, proximity, quantity, and relationships about a noun phrase and that differs from an adjective phrase, which describes attributes. In the English language, quantifiers function as determinatives.
