The De-Havilland Mosquito is by far my favourite aircraft of world War Two. When it was introduced into service in 1942, it was the fastest aircraft in RAF control. It was an incredibly versatile aircraft, with roles ranging from photo-reconnaissance to night fighter.

Mosquito in flight. One of the most feared of allied planes given it's armament of four 20mm cannon and four machine guns all housed in the nose. Add rockets to the mix and this was a devastating fighter.
