Verner Panton's unique "Globe" pendant was designed for a furniture fair in Germany in 1969. However, it was first put into production seven years later. The lamp consists of a round ball in transparent acrylic with 5 reflectors inside. It was originally designed with reflectors coated in white, blue and orange.
