The Kennessey by David Weekley Homes in Silver Ranch is a stunning floorplan that features an open kitchen and family room layout, a sizeable owners retreat and a 3 car garage. Custom home upgrades include a covered porch, a super shower in the owners bathroom or a wet bar on the second floor.
Instead of the usual custom shower enclosure, I installed a ready to go glass shower enclosure set that features a sliding door, so clearance into the room isn’t an issue. The uber-stylish hardware that operates the slide mechanism made the leap from custom enclosure to prefab kit an easy and high-impact design choice. (Stacey Brandford)
The custom shower is set up spaciously for two people, incorporating two shower head units with hand-held sprays, three body sprayers for the neck, upper back and lower back, a clear glass window that can be opened for fresh air, light, and viewing, and frameless glass so it can all be seen. www.remodelmm.com
