When kids don't follow the rules...they can pick from the consequence jar! Just use a peanut butter container and let them decorate it. Come up with your own appropriate consequences to put inside. :-)
How about separate jars. Chore jar, reward jar, consequence jar. Pick a chore, then pick a reward if they do it or consequence if they don't. Reward and consequence jars can be used for other things too.
Kids pick a "consequence" from the blue slip jar. If they pick "Mercy," they don't have to do a chore. Instead, they have a few minutes of quiet time to think about how God gives us mercy even when we don't deserve it. :: delia creates: Pin Test: Parenting With Glitter and Blue Slips
