Coca-Cola Bottling Company IT’S THE REAL THING – THE COCA COLA BOTTLING COMPANY The corner of Memorial Boulevard and Middleton Avenue had long been occupied by the red brick Coca Cola Bottling Company. Owned and operated by Peter Faerber and Sons, it bottled and sold carbonated beverages, distilled water and Coca Cola from 1907-1977.
Neville Brody, coca cola design, a design advertising coca cola in where he has used the outline and shape of the coca cola bottle to make an almost optical illusion/psychedelic pattern, i like this piece because it is eye catching and simple without losing what the advertisement is about and can clearly be recognised as the coca cola brand.
Obvious influence and inspiration from Lichtenstein's 'Wham', love the content of this piece of art work, makes the brand seem more exciting to viewers - more likely to buy? Using the company slogan in pop art style as well - continuous theme.
