Chiles Rellenos - When I waitressed at a Mexican restaurant, they would make these from scratch and they were AMAZING. This is the closest recipe I have seen, but they kept the peppers in the fridge overnight.
Authentic Mexican Rice - as far as non sticky authentic taste goes, this recipe is easy & definitely spot on. Very important to toast the rice as it says, & using the Caldo de Tomate really helps a lot. I also added a bit more chicken base, & bought the caldo de tomate squares (cheaper) & used one square per cup of water.
Love this Mexican restaurant. Huge menu, tons of options, all super fresh, bar with tons of tequilas and different drinks to chose from. Whenever I want Mexican food anywhere in the bay area I whip out my smart phone and find the closest La Pinata.
