Cloris Leachman - A 1946 Miss America contestant, the Iowa-born actress made an even bigger splash when she won the 1972 Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for “The Last Picture Show.” But she’s best known as Phyllis Lindstrom, the hilariously self-absorbed landlady on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show.” The two gals got along swimmingly.

Cloris Leachman looking like I've never seen her. When young, she competed as Miss Chicago in the Miss America pageant. Leachman's life turned to acting. To date she's won 9 Emmys and a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for 1971's "The Last Picture Show." Other work: three film with Mel Brooks; TV's 'The Facts of Life' and 'Malcolm in the Middle.' She's the oldest contestant to have participated in Dancing with the Stars, at 82.
