Milwaukee - largest city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin & 39th most populous region in the country. The first Europeans to pass through the area were French Catholic missionaries and fur traders. In 1818, the French-Canadian explorer Solomon Juneau settled in the area, & in 1846 Juneau's town combined with 2 neighboring towns to incorporate as the City of Milwaukee. Large numbers of German and other immigrants helped increase the city's population during the 1840s and the following decades.

I'm a sucker for the city. I've tried the whole outdoors, "get in touch with nature" thing, and it's just not for me. If I'm not living IN the city, I better be close to it. Even just in Milwaukee, there's so much to do and so much fun to be had, I couldn't imagine living away from a city.
