An astronaut's spacesuit costs $35,000,000 each apx = uniquely tailored to one / rarely used again by any subsequent astronaut, as EXACT fit has to be perfect !! Earth rotates apx 20,000 miles an hour ,even a small particle of space debris rock can be catastrophic if strikes astronaut while they are doing a space 'walk'= bullet proof Kevlar materials with cutting edge personal survival systems don't come cheap !!
