1) How to set the Canon Pixma to print grayscale instead of color for Mac. My post on Canon forum - These steps worked for my 2014 Macbook Air, OSX ver 10.8.5, current Canon drivers installed, Canon Pixma MG 6620, connected via wifi  (Canon doesn't provide this setting in the Canon Quick Menu and doesn't clarify whether Grayscale only uses black ink and not color ink).  Use the "File" - "Print" menu in TextEdit to set it globally on Mac. canongraysettings1a.png
