Thousands of starlings surround a lone bird of prey which had swooped down to pick off a straggler. "Starlings have a very particular way of defending themselves from their predators like falcons and harriers. They form a large tightly packed flock and mob their enemy, scaring it off, frequently expanding and contracting and changing shape."
Then, Life is too expensive as it only instills pain, grief, regret and fear of losing others and of losing one's own life despite the negativity it inflicts. Someone once said, The only thing better than life is no life at all... That person was Buddha. I am not saying life is bad, but it does teach much negativity, so as I learn to not fear my own death as much since it is inevitable no matter how I feel about it. I have experienced and continue to experience Life, but look to peace after.
