Broken biscuits - we got ours from the indoor market. The big tin boxes with glass windows were just at eye level to a small child. A 1 lb. bag of mixed - kept us going all week. Mum & Dad occasionally had a small bag of wafers but if we were having visitors we had a 1 lb. bag of chocolate broken biscuits. How times have changed :)
Woolworths sold loose biscuits from glass fronted 'bins'. There was always one which contained broken biscuits at a much cheaper price. These were the best in a child's opinion as you got some of everything!
