Biwtiffyl! Border Terrier - It's hard to go wrong with a breed that was the favorite of James Herriot. Developed in northern England, the Border Terrier was used to hunt foxes that preyed on farmers' livestock. It became a favorite hunt terrier, working with packs of Border Foxhounds.

the sweetest little doxie face ever!..M.T. Not a big fan of this breed, but this IS the cutest little face! As a kid we had a litter of 6 puppies, from a mom who was part wire-fox terrier/part poodle and she was impregnated by our shih tzu AND a neighborhood dachshund, it was the cutest litter. One was a longhair dach. we called spider monkey and was the cutest thing ever, was very upset when we had to give it away to my sisters horrible boyfriend and he didn't keep it.

West Highland White Terrier - It is a hardy breed, and can be stubborn leading to issues with training. A Westie may need to have its training refreshed on occasion during its lifetime. Having a typical terrier prey drive, it tends to be highly interested in toys especially chasing balls. It does retain the instincts of an earth-dog, including inquisitive and investigative traits, as well as natural instincts to bark and dig holes.

Jen- had a super cute dog encounter with one of these.. Jack Russell crossed with a Lakeland Terrier. So gorgeous and friendly, normally like big dogs best but would bend the rules for this cutie!

Really, bull terriers are a breed of their own. You don't know one until you actually live with one.
