Trying to stay under control makes the pain build up and get buried away. The lack of leeway to express emotions that are too extreme for most to understand or sympathize so you keep it in until it comes out in the wrong ways.
I think schools should have a mandatory mental health class that you get a credit for , where you learn about depression, anxiety, eating disorders, schizophrenia, and other mental disorders. And you also learn good coping skills and ways to get help.
Narcissistic Personality Disorder NPD - And they can be disguised as good friends until they decide to test the boundaries w/a psychotic break that they will later blame you for. The topic of positive thoughts as being helpful for myself pushed my friend into an unhinged break and all of the above resulted. BEWARE.
