Bugatti Veyron Diamond Word's Most Expensive Car: on sale for £ 2 million – 2x as much as the real thing. Liverpool-based designer Stuart Hughes took two months to create the intricate 1:18 scale model in partnership with Swiss luxury model car maker Robert Gulpen. Weighing in at 7kg, it has been created with platinum, solid 24ct gold, and a 7.2ct single cut flawless diamond on its front grill. The Cornish Trader: a 30" gaff rigged ketch, built on the same hull as Cornish Crabbers present pilot cutter 30. Only six Cornish Traders were made of this design, the main two differences being two cockpits onboard, each with their own wheel steering, and the advantage of having a mizzen mast. The hull is built from GRP with bilge keels, and a centreboard. This boat also has wooden legs, and hence the underwater profile lends itself to river cruising and beaching.
