I thought this sculpture was really interesting, it not only has an interesting form but also has a function. The good thing about this image is that shows you the building and how it functions at different times of the day; during the day creating a shady area and at night having lights to illuminate the area so it may be used. Its form and function is in good use. Nature Boardwalk @ Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo, by Jeanne Gang

A perfect example of good architecture not in a building:: Zaha Hadid Designs a Superyacht for shipbuilding company Blohm+Voss, reaching 128 meters in length, and a supporting structure resembling the organic ecosystem below. The form appears dynamic, resembling the flow of water. Paired with the clear, clean, and white coated aesthetics, this yacht fits right in with the water in which it glides across.
This sculptural facade also doubles as an air-cleaning cladding. The tiles are produced by Elegant Embellishments (called the Prosolve 370e). They are lightweight, thermoformed plastic tiles coated in powdered, photocatalytic titanium dioxide (TiO2) which scrubs pollution from the air. #facade #material #pollution
