He is truly a bad person with no loyalty or integrity. He wants all of Facebook to think he is so wonderful but all those people have not been repeatly lied to and cheated on. He goes where things are easy for him and where he can get the most out of someone when it benefits him. It's sick.
There is a particular sort of betrayal that is more insidious and equally corrosive to trust. In fact, this betrayal usually happens long before the other ones. I’m talking about the betrayal of disengagement. Of not caring. Of letting the connection go. Of not being willing to devote time and effort to the relationship.
You flipped a switch. As if I had committed some unseemly act of betrayal or lie. I did none of these things. I think you just flipped a switch and went somewhere else in your head; and never came back.
One of the hardest lessons is letting go. Whether it's guilt, anger, love, loss, or betrayal. Change isn't easy. We fight to hold on and we fight to let go.
