Honey BBQ Jerky: 1 lb meat, 1/3 cup honey, 1/2 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup butter, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 2 tsp Dijon mustard, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 mashed garlic clove, 1 tsp chili powder. Marinade needs to simmer on the stove for about 5 minutes to let the butter melt and flavors incorporate.

Ingredients include: 1/4 cup pineapple juice, 1/4 cup light soy sauce, 1/8 tsp Cayenne pepper, 1 crushed garlic clove, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp ground ginger, 1/4 tsp pepper, and 1 tsp salt. We also added some pineapple chunks, too. Results? Not bad! The fruity pineapple flavor mellows out the saltiness.
