Good morning from Spindletop Gladys City Boomtown Museum in Beaumont Texas! In Jan 1901 the Lucas Gusher exploded. A week later it was still gushing 200 ft in the air at 100000 barrels a day. If you've never been ya gotta go. There are 15 buildings to tour and the water gusher is outta sight. :) Photo by our friends at Visit Beaumont. #texas #easttexas #pineywoods #texasforesttrail
