I'm a real fan of dark chicken and turkey meat. And I was feeling the season of Autumn. Therefore, bought some turkey legs and history was made:) This simple, easy recipe smells divine in the oven and tastes the same way on your plate. Left overs make an excellent turkey pot pie and/or sandwiches. Enjoy!
Disneyland Famous Smoked Turkey Legs Recipe for your Oven...these were really good - probably as close as you could get without an actual smoker - used Kroger unseasoned meat tenderizer, ended up broiling to get the golden outside
Oven-BBQ Turkey Legs 1/2 t Chili powder 1 cube Chicken bouillon; crushed 1/4 t Pepper 1/2 C Water 1/4 C Corn oil 1/4 C Flour 1 t Salt 1/2 C BBQ sauce 6 small Turkey legs Mix flour,salt,chili powder,pepper; dredge turkey legs.Heat oil.brown on all sides. Remove turkey to a 13x9x2-inch pan. Combine bbq sauce, water and bouillon cube; spoon over turkey. Cover pan with foil; bake in preheated 325F. oven 1 hour. Uncover and bake 1 hour, until turkey is tender, basting frequently.
