Problem: Solar lights staked in yard are difficult to mow & weed eat around. Solution: Terra cotta flower pots & a bag of quick-krete. Mix concrete according to the package directions. Scoop into flower pot & immediately put light into the center (remove the stake first). It sets quickly so do one at a time. Once finished, you have cute, functional & completely portable outdoor lights. (Note: you will only need about a quarter of a bag of quick-krete to fill 8 pots).
Cement Bag Stones- stack bags of cement in a row, wet down the bags for a week or until the concrete hardens. Once hard, tear off the paper wrapping. Add another row on top of the first, wetting the second row of cement bags, waiting for the concrete to harden and then remove the paper – and so on until you obtain a height that work for you.
