Templo Mayor Ubicado en el corazón de la ciudad de México, fue un recinto ceremonial. En este espacio sagrado se encontraban los edificios principales, como palacios de gobierno, casas para guerreros, casas para sacerdotes, el juego de pelota, la escuela para nobles, llamada Calmecac, los Tzompantli (muros en los que se exhibían cráneos de sacrificados) y diversos templos para el culto a los dioses. El principal era el Templo Mayor.
