Exactly. For me the stumbling over my words and racing heart. I also get really short with people and agitated with almost anything. It's like I dont even want to be wherever it is I am having the anxiety attack.

THIS IS HOW IT FEELS. These little comics are good because I can show them to people close to me who may not completely understand.

Anxiety attacks are horrible... You can't control your body, you breath as though you can't, you cry uncontrollably, tremble & shake. And there's nothing to calm you down but time...

I've dealt with this before, so I just want you to know that if you need help ever, I'll be right here. :)

There's a difference between being #introverted, being #shy, and being #anxious. They are NOT synonymous; however, it's been shown that these traits often overlap. Being introverted means that you feel drained after social interaction. Being shy means that you find social interaction embarrassing. Having #socialanxiety feels more like panic. What about you? Are you introverted, shy, or anxious? Or all three? (I'm an #introvert with occasional #anxiety, but not usually shy.)
