King of the Gypsies (1978)

King of the Gypsies, Frank Pierson, 1978. An oddball and fairly uncatergorisable film, this... Sumptous lighting and set pieces. It's basically a cross between Goodfellas, Romeo and Juliet with caravans...

Okay so I generally don't approve of tit for tat attitudes... but having said that, why can't you have a male ditzy character? If the industry as a whole refuses to stop having a sole female character being stupid eye-candy, then the only solution is to have the exact same but with men.
