Euphorbia polychroma: An undemanding perennial, Euphorbia polychroma offers a pleasing contrast of colors on a neat, almost architectural form. It grows to about 15in and produces a splendid show in May from bright yellow bracts. Their color is long lasting, but changes to rose-bronze as they age above the green foliage. A sensational ground cover plant or accent in a sunny garden. Quite tolerant of hot, dry conditions (but not the heat and humidity of the South).
Home + Mold // A common problem in Germany is finding mold in humid areas of the home. The best way to help deter mold is to allow fresh air from the outside to cross ventilate throughout the home 2x a day for 15 mins at a time. Due to the type of constructions, some of the older & even newer homes have bad wall structure that can be simply preventable (airing out + soap + water) or unless the wall itself is severely damage, then wall repairs will be needed.
All the best hair intentions never stand a chance against the long, humid days that are nearly upon us. Instead of splurging on goops and waxes and spending hours with your straightener, try switching things up with a fun braid. (And no, we'd never judge you if you actually spent that time just taking this story straight to the salon and letting someone else do it for you.)
