12th Battalion The Somerset Light Infantry’s regimental aid post staff in France, 1918. The 12th Battalion was converted from a yeomanry regiment (West Somerset) to infantry in Egypt in January 1917, part of 229th Brigade, 74th Division. It went to France on the 30th April 1918, embarking at Alexandria for Marseilles and landing on the 7th May. (Colourised by Royston Leonard from the UK)
