Unusual Eastern Indian gem set medallion necklace 1800s Ten 18 karat yellow gold panels delicately enameled with barnyard animals on one side and rose cut set peacocks on the other. Strung together by five seed pearl strands. Necklace terminates with a large emerald and diamond pendant, emerald sea shell carved center, reverse displays an enameled peacock and flora motif.

A Navaratna Pendant | India Jaipur | 18/19th Century | A crescent moon pendant inlaid with rubies diamonds and emeralds in the kundan style with a flower within the crescent which has the nine holy stones (navaratna) unusually revolving around an emerald. The reverse has fine Jaipur enamel of flowers and birds in red, green and blue enamel on a white ground.
