Oak Central Spine Staircase With Glass & Brass
Commissioned for a modern centerpiece, we crafted a bespoke staircase from solid American White Oak with extra-thick 110mm treads for durability. The central spine design features a unique stringer with two 44mm thick strings, resulting in a stunningly beautiful staircase. Brass fittings secure 17.5mm laminated glass to the treads, complemented by a brass handrail spanning the staircase and landing. This bespoke oak staircase showcases traditional materials in a modern design, creating a unique home centerpiece.

Recently, our client reached out for a renovation, aiming to enhance the staircase’s visual impact. The new vision involved the incorporation of a handrail to the existing glass, initially seeming like a challenging task. However, with the aid of our cutting-edge staircase manufacturing technology, we turned this vision into reality. The result is a transformed black staircase, now adorned with a handrail that seemingly hovers in the space, striking the perfect balance between subtlety and the captivating presence our client desired.
