Pair of French Antique Light Cream / Off White Linen Handmade Triangle Net Lace Inclusion / Panel (A383) 11g. Approximately 4 3/4" X 9". Fine linen thread netted in a a grape and leaf motif. Excellent antique condition with just a few specks from storage.
This beautiful antique French piece of workmanship is handmade in pale ecru coloured fine cotton batiste, intricately hand embroidered with fleur de lys and edged with handmade lace - the detail is superb. This has a circumference of 58 cm at the base and 42 cm at the top. There is space in the lace at the top where you could thread a ribbon through and gather it up, making it adaptable to different sizes of lampshade. This extremely pretty piece is in perfect condition.
