From 1962 till 1963, the official aerobatic team of the Royal Air Force becomes the Tigers from 74th squadron.They were equipped with nine English Electric Lightning F.1A aircraft and were the first team in the whole world which used airplanes reaching Mach2 (twice as the speed of sound).
