From the pinner: Sly Stone - my 1st concert was Sly and the Family Stone with Chaka Kahn as the opening act at the Paterson Armory in New Jersey. From me: Chaka Kahn is the bomb! She did a friend's wedding in about 1980 - it was the hit of the thing, not the bride and groom...oh well.
