Each Google Loon project balloon measures 15m or 14.92 in diameter and lifting gases are used to keep them airborne. Each one of them is powered by solar panels, carries altitude control system, a flight computer and electronic equipment. One balloon is capable of providing Internet connectivity to an area with 40km diameter.
