1930S Gordon Russell Oak Table Dressing Mirror
Super 1930s Gordon Russell Oak Table Dressing Mirror We are liking this one an awful lot. The mirror was designed by Dick Russell in 1934 forming part of a range in a lighter shade oak by Gordon Russell.
The un-meddled with Regency period giltwood and gesso wall mirror having the original convex mercury mirror plate with ebonised mahogany slip, surrounded by a thick moulded gilt gesso frame surmounted by a spreadeagled eagle to opposing foliate grape and flower drops, the base with a ribbon and swag tied stiff leaf adornment, giving the whole beautiful balance and surviving from the first quarter of the nineteenth century.

Antique French mirror with silverleaf frame
Early 20th century French silverleafed rectangular mirror with raised rippled decoration along the outer and inner edges of the frame. After many years of dusting, the silverleaf has thinned a little along the raised borders, revealing the black bole beneath giving the frame a gentle, attractive patina. The 19th century mirror plate has just a hint of age and gives an excellent reflection.

William IV Mahogany, Rosewood And Gilded Mirror
Circa 1830. An unusual and stylish William IV mahogany, rosewood and gilded mirror. The rectangle shaped mirror is surmounted by four pierced gilded brass wreaths with swags and tails below. The frieze in rosewood has gothic arches with roundels in the centre on a gilded background. The frame of the top section is gilded, the rest of the frame in mahogany with scratch carved beading on all the facings.

Huge English 19Th Century Antique Gilt Mirror
This is a lovely large-scale English antique wall mirror that can be hung both portrait and landscape ways or used just leant against a wall as a dressing mirror. Very good quality and featuring a running gesso laurel leaf design that is in the original gilt finish. In very good condition with a later clean mirror plate and original well panelled pine back that has the original London makers paper label. English and dates to around 1840.

Large Antique Decorative Gilt French Mirror
Unusual 19th century gilt French portrait mirror with triple curved top and base. The narrow frame is decorated with an incurving band of lipped leaf patterns with oval centres set inside a narrow, double, raised, curved outer edge and with a delicate, inverted shell and scrolling patterned sight edge. The top and base of the mirror have floral and foliate decorations and there is a elongated acanthus leaf at each corner with a floral spray running along the frame. The mirror has been gilded with several different colours of gold leaf including some with a greenish tinge for the leaves and ovals. The original glass has a wide bevel which follows the shape of the frame and is in very good condition, giving an excellent reflection.
